Dear Friends of Four Corners Foundation,

Our country is angry, divided and in desperate need of an infusion of love. Several weeks ago, I had an opportunity to see, and be, this “love” in action. During my weekly “The Doctor is In” health care clinic at the PATH shelter, I met a father of four young children, ages 2 to 8, whose wife had tragically passed away from injuries sustained after having been struck by a vehicle. This family was referred to Four Corners Foundation (FCF) by an employee at the children’s elementary school who knew of our partnership with area non-profits. This father is devastated by the loss of his wife and mother of his children, but at PATH he has found the love of temporary shelter, the love of a social worker to assist in additional needs and the love of medical support for their emotional needs. Four Corners Foundation is grateful for the wonderful work being done by PATH and all our non-profit partners. Since 2011, Four Corners Foundation has contributed over $488,000 in cash project support to our partner non-profits; plus, we provide to PATH, at no lease, the 13,000 square foot housing shelter and the 12-unit apartment building for “graduates” of the shelter. Our fundraising theme of “Here We Grow Again” is your opportunity to help “grow” the work of love being done to lift up the needy. Our fundraising goal this Christmas season is $100,000. I am grateful to those of you that have supported our mission over the years and I invite the rest of you, just learning of our mission, to become a partner in this effort.

In the words of St. Therese of Lisieux, “Our Lord does not so much look at the greatness of our actions, or even at their difficulty, as at the love with which we do them.”
